1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or using Sonboa, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Sonboa.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonboa. You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
Sonboa may use human verification, App Check, and other anti-abuse systems to protect signups and service integrity.
3. Creator Ownership
As between you and Sonboa, you own the videos, captions, thumbnails, overlays, profile content, comments, messages, and other content you create or upload to Sonboa, except for Sonboa's own software, branding, design, technology, and other intellectual property.
You are responsible for making sure you have all rights needed to upload and share your content, including rights in video, audio, music, likenesses, trademarks, and other materials shown or heard in your content.
4. License You Grant Sonboa
You grant Sonboa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, upload, transcode, modify for technical formatting, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, promote, share, create previews and thumbnails from, and otherwise use your content for the purpose of operating, improving, securing, marketing, and promoting Sonboa.
This license includes the rights needed to show your content in feeds, search, profiles, direct messages, shared links, previews, moderation tools, and other Sonboa features. The license ends when your content is deleted from Sonboa, except where continued use is needed for backups, legal compliance, safety records, moderation history, shared messages, or other legitimate service operations.
5. Sonboa Ownership
Sonboa owns the app, website, code, design, feed systems, ranking systems, recommendations, trademarks, logos, and all other Sonboa technology and intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or misuse Sonboa except as allowed by law and these terms.
6. Human-Made Video and No A.I. Posting Policy
Sonboa is for human-made videos. You may not upload videos that are wholly or materially A.I.-generated, synthetic, deepfaked, or deceptively altered in a way that violates Sonboa's Community Guidelines.
When you publish a video, Sonboa may require you to confirm that your upload complies with the no A.I.-generated content policy. Sonboa may investigate posts based on viewer reports, automated signals, or moderator review. During an investigation, you may be asked to submit evidence that your video is human-made, such as the original camera file or raw export.
Confirmed A.I. policy violations may result in escalating enforcement, including:
- First confirmed violation: a temporary upload ban.
- Second confirmed violation: a temporary app suspension.
- Third confirmed violation: permanent account ban.
Sonboa may also remove the violating content, limit distribution, lock posting during review, or take other action needed to protect the community.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Sonboa to:
- Post content you do not have the right to post.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or abuse others.
- Post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, or content that exploits or endangers people.
- Post illegal, hateful, violent, deceptive, spammy, or malicious content.
- Use automation, bots, scraping, fake accounts, or other abusive behavior.
- Interfere with Sonboa security, feeds, ranking, reporting, moderation, or infrastructure.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
Sonboa may review, limit, remove, reject, or restore content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts. We may use automated systems, service providers, user reports, and human moderators to enforce these terms and our Community Guidelines.
We may not always explain every moderation decision, especially where doing so could create safety, security, or abuse risks.
9. Reports, Blocks, and Safety Tools
Sonboa provides tools to report posts, profiles, and comments, and to block other users. Abuse of reporting or safety tools may itself violate these terms.
10. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion in the app. Account deletion may remove or tombstone account content as described in our Privacy Policy. Some information may remain where needed for safety, legal compliance, backups, audit records, or other users' conversation context.
11. Disclaimers
Sonboa is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Sonboa will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. Feeds, recommendations, search, moderation, and other systems may change over time.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sonboa and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of Sonboa.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the app or website.
